About
Educator, engineer, entrepreneur.
A career built across classrooms, codebases and companies — held together by one idea: technology should help people.
I began my career as an educator in Venezuela. I earned my degree in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation at Universidad de Carabobo in 2011 and had been teaching since 2010.
In 2014 my family and I moved to the United States. I rebuilt my career from scratch — working while learning English — and eventually joined the public school system in Shelby County, Tennessee, as a Spanish teacher.
Technology came next. After a volunteer weekend building a website for a nonprofit, I completed a full-stack programming bootcamp while still teaching full time. In 2021 I started working remotely as a software engineer in supply chain, building and improving products and systems. That was four years of employment, and alongside it I worked independently with small businesses, organizations and schools.
I thought I was leaving education behind, but it stayed with me, just in a different form. While working as a software engineer I mentored students in coding bootcamps and supported the educational program of a nonprofit foundation. That led me deeper and deeper into education technology. And I found something else: the experience I brought as an educator helped me enormously in managing projects.
Today I do several things at once. Since returning to Venezuela in 2025 I work in continuous improvement and process implementation, and I build applications and systems that help improve those processes. I help schools and entrepreneurs set up their virtual school, from the very beginning to the first day of classes. I also keep working independently through my own company, In Motion Web Solutions, and serve as technology director supporting a foundation. And in NEXT YOU, the community I started, I support people who want to change careers or reinvent themselves. And I keep learning: I'm earning an online Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) at University of the People, to keep growing in technology with formal education.
What ties it together: education never left, it changed shape. I see technology as a way to help people, and I love teaching it. NEXT YOU grew out of my own journey.
How I work
One step at a time. Whether it's a quick tech fix or a career change, I turn it into a clear next step — and I stay beside you while you take it.
What I value
Human-centered
Technology only matters if it makes someone's work or life easier.
Practical
Clear next steps over impressive jargon.
Curious
I keep learning in public — and share what works and what doesn't.
Honest
I only claim what's real: roles, results and what's still in progress.
